Terms of service
Version 2026-10-12 · 12 October 2026
The service is provided by Bricole di Nicolò Carraro, a sole proprietorship registered in Italy, [address], VAT number [number], REA [number], phone [number], email hello@bricoletravel.com, website bricoletravel.com ("Bricole", "we", "us").
These terms govern the contract between Bricole and the person who requests and buys the service ("you"). Before you pay we ask you to read and accept them; our confirmation email links to the version you accepted.
The service is only for adults (18 or over) acting for personal purposes. If the stay concerns a group, the person who buys also acts on behalf of the other travellers, confirms that they are authorised to do so and that they have told the others about these terms and the privacy notice. Information about children travelling with the group is provided by the person responsible for them.
The service. Bricole is a digital stay-design service. Based on what you tell us, we design a personalised day-by-day programme and put it on a personal page from which you book each experience yourself, with one tap, with the provider who offers it. The price you pay Bricole covers the design, the booking page and the support described in these terms.
Who books. You make the bookings: when you press "Book" and confirm, your request goes straight to the provider through the booking system Bricole provides to its providers. Bricole does not book in your name, does not act as your agent or intermediary, and does not enter into contracts on your behalf.
Providers are independent. Each experience is provided by an independent provider (for example a winery, a restaurant, a guide, a spa), who contracts directly with you, is paid directly by you at their own prices, and is solely responsible for carrying out their service and for its safety. The provider's conditions (times, cancellation, minimum age, requirements) are shown in your programme.
What Bricole does not do. Bricole does not organise, sell or provide the experiences in the programme; it does not sell package travel or linked travel arrangements; it does not sell or book accommodation, transport or vehicle rental; it does not collect the price of the experiences. It may give you the contact details of licensed private-hire drivers, whom you contact, book and pay directly: Bricole receives nothing from them.
How Bricole is paid. Besides the price you pay, Bricole receives a fee from the providers in your programme for using its booking system and for the bookings they receive through it [TO BE VALIDATED: form of the providers' fee]. Some accommodation providers tell their guests about Bricole and receive from Bricole a fixed fee for each visit to our website that comes from their link, which does not depend on whether you buy. None of these fees changes the price you pay. Your programme includes only providers we have an agreement with, and among them we choose those best suited to what you asked for.
Request and preview. When you fill in the form on our website you receive, free of charge, a proposal with the price and an example of your days written with the help of an AI system (section 12). The example is meant to give you an idea and is not binding: your actual programme may differ.
When the contract is made. The contract is concluded when you complete payment on the secure payment page. Right after that we email you the confirmation, with a summary of your purchase and a link to these terms.
Questionnaire and programme. After payment we ask you to answer a short questionnaire about your group; if you have not filled it in, we send a reminder after 48 hours. You receive your proposed programme on your personal page, with every place, time and indicative cost, within 48 hours of the questionnaire. If the questionnaire is still empty 7 days before arrival (or, for late purchases, 24 hours after payment), we prepare the proposal from the information in your request (dates and interests), assuming two adults.
Review and changes. Before you book you can ask for changes, in your own words, in up to three rounds; each new version reaches you by email. Changes depend on the providers' availability.
Booking. Next to each experience in your programme there is a "Book" button, and at the end "Book all the rest". Before sending, we ask you to confirm that you are booking yourself, with that provider, for the number of people shown. Many bookings are confirmed instantly; the others by the provider within a few hours. The status of each booking is on your personal page and, once everything is booked, we email you a summary. If a provider cannot confirm, you can choose another time or ask us for a change.
No automatic booking. Nothing is booked unless you do it. If you do not book, we remind you about your programme after 48 hours and again 7 and 3 days before arrival; after that, nothing happens.
During your stay. You can write to us about unexpected events or changes of plan through the channels shown on your personal page: we help you find a solution with the providers in your programme. We aim to reply as soon as possible, [indicative time — TO BE DECIDED]; changes during the stay depend on the providers' availability.
The price depends on the number of nights and is for the whole group, not per person: €190 up to 3 nights; €290 for 4–5; €390 for 6–7; €490 for 8–10; €590 for 11–14; €690 for 15 nights or more. The price is shown in your proposal and is the total price: it includes everything due to Bricole, including any stamp duty. No VAT is charged, under the Italian flat-rate scheme (Law 190/2014, art. 1, paragraphs 54–89).
You pay in advance by card through Stripe, on its secure page; Bricole never receives your card details. The price of the experiences is not included: you pay it directly to the providers. Costs shown in the programme are estimates based on the providers' prices and may vary.
Each booking is an agreement between you and the provider, under the provider's conditions shown in your programme, including those on cancellation, late arrival and no-show. Any fees or charges required by the provider are your responsibility, unless they result from a malfunction of Bricole's booking system. To cancel or change a booking, write to the provider or to us: we will let them know if you prefer. If a provider cancels or changes a service, we tell you as soon as we know and suggest an alternative where possible.
Your right. You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason (articles 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code).
Immediate start. Your programme is prepared right after payment. When you pay, we ask you to expressly confirm that you want us to start straight away and to acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, that is once we have delivered your programme and you have chosen it by booking from your page (article 59(1)(a)). Support during your stay is an ancillary service included in the price and does not postpone full performance.
Amount if you withdraw early (article 57(3)) [TO BE VALIDATED]: if you withdraw before we deliver the first version of your programme, we refund the full price; if you withdraw after delivery but before you have booked, we refund 50%.
How to withdraw. Use the "Withdraw from contract here" function on your personal page and in your confirmation email, followed by the "Confirm withdrawal" button; or write to hello@bricoletravel.com; or use the form at the end of these terms. We immediately confirm receipt of your withdrawal by email, with date, time and the text of your statement.
Refund. We refund you without delay and in any case within 14 days of your withdrawal, using the same means of payment, at no cost to you. Bookings you have already made with providers remain valid: if you no longer need them, cancel them with the provider under its own conditions.
[TO BE DECIDED] If you change your dates before we deliver your programme, we take this into account at no cost. After delivery, if your dates change, we adapt the programme once at no cost provided the number of nights stays the same [or: a new design is needed at the price in section 5].
Even after the 14-day withdrawal period you may cancel the service at any time before it has been fully performed, without penalty, using the same function: we refund you using the same criteria as in section 7. Once the service has been fully performed the price is not refundable; bookings with providers follow their own conditions (section 6).
Your programme depends on the information you give us: children's age ranges, experience level for activities that require it (for example cycling) and anything else that helps. If you want us to take allergies, intolerances or mobility needs into account, enter them in the questionnaire and give the consent requested; without that information we cannot take them into account. When you book, we pass it on only to the providers concerned. Please always repeat it to the provider's staff on arrival: for allergies, information on allergens and how they are handled is the responsibility of whoever prepares the food.
We recommend that you have travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation and personal liability.
Self-guided activities. Your programme may suggest walks or visits to do on your own, chosen among easy, signposted routes with length, elevation gain and terrain indicated. They take place on land that Bricole does not manage: you assess your own fitness and that of your group, wear suitable clothing and footwear, check the weather, respect signs and private property, and may stop at any time.
Alcohol and driving. Tastings involve drinking alcohol. In Italy the limit for drivers is 0.5 g/l, and zero for newly licensed drivers and anyone under 21. We strongly recommend not driving after drinking and we point you to private-hire drivers; the decision to drive is yours alone.
Bricole is responsible for designing your programme with due care, choosing the providers it proposes carefully, the proper working of your page and of the booking system, and passing on to providers the information you gave us. Bricole is not responsible for how providers carry out their services, for which they alone are responsible (section 3), nor for events beyond its control (for example weather, strikes, closures ordered by authorities or decided by providers).
Your statutory rights. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits Bricole's liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
Bricole uses an AI system (Claude, by Anthropic) to write the free example of your days, to put together your programme and to draft replies to messages, which a person checks before they are sent. Every text written with AI is labelled as such; places, times and availability come only from providers we work with and are checked automatically by our own system. You can always ask for a request to be handled by a person. Details are in our privacy notice.
For any request or complaint, write to hello@bricoletravel.com. We reply within [n] working days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact an alternative dispute resolution body for consumers or the competent court (section 17).
We process your data as described in our privacy notice at bricoletravel.com/privacy, which we ask you to read before buying.
Your programme is prepared for you and your group for personal use. It may not be resold or published for commercial purposes.
Your purchase is governed by the version of these terms you accepted when you paid, shown in your confirmation email. Later versions apply only to future purchases.
This contract is governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence (EU Regulation 593/2008, article 6). Disputes with consumers living in Italy fall under the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile (article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code); for consumers living in another EU country, the rules of EU Regulation 1215/2012 apply; consumers living outside the EU keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country.
These terms are available in English and Italian. If the two versions differ, the interpretation most favourable to the consumer prevails.
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. It is simpler to use the “Withdraw from contract here” button on your personal page.)
